Dan, Wyatt and I spent Saturday afternoon with the Kanis family celebrating Cavin's 5th birthday. Kara and I have been the best of friends for the past 14 years and Wyatt and Cavin were born 6 weeks apart. Though our families don't get together as often as we like it's as if time stood still when we do see one another. At the end of the night Cavin told Wyatt that he's his best friend (and the two haven't seen one another for over a year). And we can't forget about Lauren- if I had a daughter, I'd like her to be exactly like her.
