MN State Fair

Dan and I took a day off during the week to take Wyatt to the State Fair.  We lasted longer than we thought, an entire 6 hours.  We spent most of the day on Machinery Hill and the Miracle of Birth Barn.  Rides?  What rides, Wyatt could have cared less.

Debbie and Sinisa's Wedding

Our good friends and neighbors got married at a beautiful ceremony outside on a Sunday afternoon.  The weather was perfect.  It was fun to be part of this special day. Congratulations Debbie and Sinisa!

When we got back from running errands all morning and these were sitting on our steps.  A nice surprise from my mother who was just at the Minneapolis farmer's market.  Thanks, mom!

Lake Harriet Playground and Trolley

The Lake Harriet Playground was redone earlier this summer.  Luca and Wyatt loved it!

This was the best part- shovels, water and sand!

If you know me well there isn't a lot in my life that is spontaneous- everything has a time and a place...but I'm working on it.  Debbie, Marco and Luca went their own way and as Wy and I were leaving I said, "Let's go on the trolley."  We ran to make the next ride and he loved it.  I'm not sure if he loved the sucker better or the 10 minute trolley ride to Lake Calhoun and back.  Nonetheless, we had fun.
