Happy Birthday, Molly!

Wyatt was invited to another birthday party, this time for Molly Nelson who turned 2.  He was so excited to go back to Pump It Up!  Despite the roads being super slippery- we still made it.  Anything for Miss Molly!
Going, going...

Gone!

Enjoying his cake and eating it too :)

Birthday Girl, Molly!

He stole the crown!  It looks like he also had a hole in his chin while drinking his water.

Santa!

The day is here!  Our 2nd annual Bachman's Holiday Open House with the arrival of Santa, his reindeer and his Elf, Albert.  Wyatt enjoyed watching Santa come down the driveway on his reindeer drawn sled and even said Hi to him and Albert but still couldn't get him to sit on his lap to ask him for a drum set.  After the show, making reindeer food and looking at the reindeer, Wyatt couldn't understand why he didn't get his drum set.  We felt so bad for him because he just didn't understand- after a brief explanation and a little distraction we were able to calm him down.  Again, as my mom, dad and Dan said- I think I had the most fun.  Why is it that I have tears in my eyes every time I see Santa arrive on the sleigh?

Waiting with Daddy...

Here comes Santa!

"Santa's a nice guy."

...but I still won't sit on his lap.

Preparing the "List" for Santa...

Wyatt enjoyed sitting at the table with dad this morning eating blueberries and drinking juice.  He was looking through a catalog preparing his list for Santa, it consisted of one thing:  a drum set.

First Snowfall of the Season

Wyatt couldn't wait to get outside to play in the snow and it was great snow for a snowman.  Frosty didn't end up being very tall.  As quick as we built him, Wyatt couldn't wait to kick him down.  I told him that Frosty and Santa are good friends so you have to be nice.  It worked for awhile.

Happy Halloween!

Surprisingly, this was Wyatt's first Halloween Chicken Cheating (Trick-or-Treating).  The last couple of years he was sick so we stayed home and handed out candy to the kids- last Halloween was also the last time he was sick so hopefully it's a good sign.  We practiced the etiquette of Trick-or-Treating prior and I thought he had it down pretty well until we got to our neighbors house.  Before we walked out the door he had to put a couple pieces of candy into his pumpkin so when we knocked on the door he handed his M&Ms to the neighbor.  I think he was slightly overwhelmed by all the kids running around.  It took him two houses until he had the whole system figured out and he was then running door to door as fast as he could.  We're so thankful it was good weather- slightly chilled but it just wouldn't be Halloween without it!

Yep, that would be a drill!

Dan's talent.

Wyatt saw this dog and yelled, "Mom look, Mom look- that dog is dressed as Super Man!"  - he laughed so hard the entire neighborhood could hear him.  Of course he wouldn't stand next to him for a picture.

Gotta love Photo Shop!
