FLORIDA!

Tropical Storm Debby put a damper on the sun but it didn't stop us from having fun.  It was a great week with my parents, Dan and Wyatt at my parent's condo in Stuart.  We made the most of it- especially watching Wyatt swim all week.
Chewing gum, ready for take off!

Plantation Beach Club

First time at the ocean on this trip- the water was so warm even on a cloudy day.

Everything was "CANNONBALL!"

Watching the surfers, "Mom, this is so awesome!"

Our rainy day adventure!

As Wyatt was pedaling the skeleton was pedaling as well.  He thought it was the coolest thing.

Papa Suess and Mana Diane in close watch.

Making sure he got everything off his grocery list.

This was where Wyatt spent most of his time.  Putting on tires, changing oil, washing windshields, checking underneath the car, starting the engine.  It was his own little auto shop.  Very clever!

We were attempting to build a house...

Strategizing...

Clueless!

The end.

Final Swimming Lesson

Wyatt has never been afraid of water and has enjoyed being in the water as a young infant. It was time to learn how to swim! Although my expectations weren't very high for him to actually swim on his own- he blew us away! We went to Foss Swim School for the first time and will never go anywhere else. Jenny Q. we love you and thank you for everything! Wyatt can swim!

The one thing Wyatt didn't like was floating on his back.  Here Jenny is negotiating with him and he listens to her.  Whatever she says goes.

The final swim!

Sunday Bike Ride

Our family loves to bike especially on a perfect spring day when the weather is cooperating.  We bought Wyatt a Trail-a-Bike but Dan and I wanted to ride some distance so he was stuck in the bike carrier.  After our ride he said he never wanted to go in that again :)  He was a trooper!  Pictures below are from Tin Fish- are mid way rest stop!

Gus and Ruby off to Portland

Wyatt got to spend one last night with his cousins Gus and Ruby at my parent's house before they moved to Portland.  The small amount of time they spend with each other is always so cherished.  I truly will miss those kiddos.

Ruby is giving Wyatt's new bike a test drive...along with his helmet.
