Let's Hit the Hill!

Suess Cousins!

There's a first time for everything!  Wyatt hasn't spent much time with his cousins on the Suess side for reasons that go beyond this Blog.  I didn't want to deny his rights with his cousins so he spent last Friday night  and Saturday at my parent's house with Gus and Ruby.  I miss them so much and it was so nice to see Gus as such a grown up.  Together they were three peas in a pod.  I hope the three of them get together soon- they had so much fun.
Wyatt (4), Gus (7 almost 8) and Ruby (5)

Gus and Ruby made these snowmen Friday afternoon before Wyatt got there.  They were so excited to show him.  Gus made sure we knew the biggest one was him, the middle one was Ruby and the smallest was Wyatt.

Dave Naber & The Monster Truck Jam

Dave Naber, a dear friend from high school, stayed with us for the weekend with his son, Jacob.  They live in Fairbanks, Alaska which makes it difficult to see him often.  We honestly haven't seen Dave for over 10+ years but it was like just yesterday, circa 1991.  Dan mentioned that he had bought Wyatt tickets for the Monster Truck Jam and so Dave bought some as well.  Unfortunately, Wyatt got sick on the way down to the Dome and vomitted for the first time in the car all over himself.  Luckily we don't live far and it worked out to throw him in the bath at home and regroup.  After an apple and a little down time he was good as new.  I didn't go, OH, DARN!, but was able to get this picture after the fact.
