Santa!

The day is here!  Our 2nd annual Bachman's Holiday Open House with the arrival of Santa, his reindeer and his Elf, Albert.  Wyatt enjoyed watching Santa come down the driveway on his reindeer drawn sled and even said Hi to him and Albert but still couldn't get him to sit on his lap to ask him for a drum set.  After the show, making reindeer food and looking at the reindeer, Wyatt couldn't understand why he didn't get his drum set.  We felt so bad for him because he just didn't understand- after a brief explanation and a little distraction we were able to calm him down.  Again, as my mom, dad and Dan said- I think I had the most fun.  Why is it that I have tears in my eyes every time I see Santa arrive on the sleigh?

Waiting with Daddy...

Here comes Santa!

"Santa's a nice guy."

...but I still won't sit on his lap.
