Jesse James Days

Dan has been biking his entire life but really got back into this past summer.  Our neighbor, Dean, and Dan decided to do the 45 mile Jesse James Days Bike Tour.  Lots of hills and valleys but they made it- Good Job Boys!

My friend from High School, Carrie, joined us at the parade this year with her family and Kim with her kids, along with our parents.  Wyatt LOVES his cousin time and all the boys enjoyed the parade this year- especially the big semi truck at the very end that literally dumps buckets full of candy out of the back.  It's too much...really.

Kennedy's Birthday Party

Kennedy turns 4!  We had a great time spending the evening with my brother's girlfriend, Amy, and her daughter Kennedy and their entire family.

1st Day of Kindergarten

A very bittersweet day- Wyatt's first day of Kindergarten.  As I'm writing this in December I can tell you that he had a tough few weeks adjusting to all day of school and then Minneapolis Kids after school program.  He's all boy and is giving his teacher some challenges recently so we hope this is just a phase and the little bugger gets on track soon.  Overall he loves school- hasn't missed a day and is making tons of friends.  I think that's part of his problem, he's being too social.  We couldn't have asked for a better teacher, Mrs. Williams.  She's amazing and the amount of information Wyatt is unbelievable.  I don't remember Kindergarten like it is today.

We had a harder time saying Good Bye.  At this point Wyatt can't wait for us to leave.

Wyatt had his first week long YMCA camping experience this summer.  He was lucky to share it with two of his best friends.  It was a long and tiring week but we're so thankful the weather cooperated- it was a perfect week for camp.
