Easter

When people think of Easter what comes to mind is dying eggs, egg hunts, candy and Easter baskets- though we did all of the above we cannot forget the true meaning of Easter...The Lord has risen!  It was a great day shared with my parents and Dan's family.

Getting ready to dye some eggs!

Patiently waiting for the tablets to dissolve.

Happy Birthday, Megan!

Mark & Megan and Dan & I went out for dinner to celebrate Megan's birthday to Fuji Ya Saturday night.  The four of us could sit around a bonfire all night, which we've done, and laugh hysterically with one another.  Tonight was no different- we are so thankful to have them in our lives.  Happy Birthday, Megan.  We love you so much.

Girls Night Out- April

It's always a great night when all of us girls can get together.  Tonight we went to Rojo in St. Louis Park and we were given wonderful news from Stacy that she's expecting twins in November- yeah!  Kim's getting married, Kari just got married, Stacy's having twins...it's going to be a busy year :)

Snow, Snow Go Away!

It's hard to enjoy the 60 degree weather when we have this lovely line of snow on the south side of our yard that just won't go away- thanks, fence.  Tonight, Wyatt and I decided to take the matter into our own hands and remove it ourselves.  We spread it across the backyard.  I promised him it would all be gone by the time we came home from work tomorrow- I hope I'm right!  He thought the hose might help too- with a little help from the dump truck.

Jeep Time!

Luca stopped by for a visit on the Jeep.  Wyatt had to take a spin down the block.  FYI- we will never own one of these!

Wyatt, Zach and Molly

Wyatt and I went over to the Nelson's last night for a long, overdue playdate with  Zach and Molly.  They all played so well together, it was hard to leave.  Miss Molly is like the Energizer Bunny, she just keeps going and going and going.
Celebrating everyone's birthday!

I'm not sure who is chasing who!

Snickerdoodles!

I can always count on Wyatt to help me bake...even in his sunglasses!

He had his own bowl of flour and cinnamon that he wanted to play with- it was so cute to listen to his conversation with himself, "you take a scoop from here and put it in there and then scoop it."

Paint Party

Papa and Mana Suess stopped by for a visit yesterday.  Wyatt wanted Mana Diane to paint with him.  My mom's great artistic talent is to paint "Wyatt" on her paper :)

Disney's Imagination Movers!

We took Wyatt to see the Imagination Movers at the Orpheum this past Saturday.  I think he was a bit overwhelmed but it was a fun afternoon.  For those of you who are familiar, this is really cute- Wyatt had me cut up some cheese for Warehouse Mouse.  You'll see it in the photos below.

Wyatt has his bag of cheese in his hand.

Soccer!

I couldn't wait until Wyatt turned 3 because that would mean he's able to participate in sports.  Who's more excited- mom or Wyatt?  For the next 5 weeks Wyatt will be playing indoor soccer through the YMCA/Southdale.   We got there early, maybe too early.   He was enjoying kicking the ball with Daddy for about 15 minutes until it was time to engage with the other kids and coach Jeff, at that point, he was ready to go home.  We aren't going to be forceful and hopefully next week he'll have only soccer on his mind unlike this past week- we took him to Imagination Movers that afternoon so that's all he wanted to do.

Best Friends, Con't!!

We had the privilege to watch Luca overnight this past weekend.  It was all fun and games until it was time for bed- 10:45pm later.  I should have put Luca in the guest bedroom but of course thought it would be fun if they were in the same room.  Wyatt thought it was so cool he was having a sleep over but they wouldn't settle down.  Here's the prelude to bedtime...
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies, Popcorn and Water- now that's a snack!

Their renditon of "chesse!"

Time to wash those hands!

Best Friends!

Luca came over for a playdate this week.  The boys have so much fun together.  Trucks, cars, puzzles, grocery shopping...you name, they did it.  Here is the only picture I got of them prior to playing with Play-Doh.

Our Sick Little Man

Wyatt has been fighting a cold for over a week now.  Unfortunately it didn't just linger like the average two week cold, this one hit full force yesterday.  A terrible cough and 102 degree temps are taking a toll on him but he somehow manages to still make us laugh.  I'm hoping we kick this thing soon- mommy needs to sleep again.

"Mommy, Go Away!"  He clearly isn't feeling well.

A lot of just lounging around today- emotionless.

Master Procrastinator!

Dan is traveling so Wyatt and I spent Valentine's Evening together watching How To Train Your Dragon- twice.  I ended the perfect evening by tucking him into bed.  Five minutes later he comes walking out of his bedroom and sits down next to me on the couch and says, "Mommy, I can't go in my room right now because my friends are sleeping- I'll be right back, stay there."  He proceeds to grab a blanket and goes back into his room.  "Mom, my friends needed to be covered up- I still can't go in there because they are sleeping."  As I tuck him in a second time- this is what I find...
Someone knows when daddy is gone!

Nickelodeon Universe

We spent Sunday afternoon at the Mall of America at Nickelodeon Universe with my mom and dad.  It was super busy and Wyatt went on a hand full of rides- but the best part of his day was the arcade.
