Spooktacular!

Lifetime Fitness had their annual Spooktacular for kids this past Saturday.  We didn't know what to expect but thought we'd start getting Wyatt in the Halloween spirit and give him another chance to be Superman.  We were slightly disappointed but that didn't stop Wyatt from enjoying the bounce house as well as a little bowling, dancing and fishing.

Girls Weekend...

Almost every year my mom and her sister spend a weekend shopping.  Sometimes my cousins and I will go as well but it's been awhile since all 5 of us have been together.  This year it worked out for all of us to spend a night away from home to do some shopping and good eats.  We had a blast and haven't laughed as hard as we did in a long time.  Mom, thanks for caring but I wasn't having a seizure!  LOL!

Minnetonka Orchards

Last year we took Wyatt to Minnetonka Orchards and he had a blast.  We thought we'd make it an annual tradition with our neighbors and try and do it year after year.  Last year it was pretty cold and the ground was wet.  This year it was 80 degrees, dry and sunny.  With the warm weather and the Vikings not playing- everyone else had the same idea.  Though it was crazy busy- it was still a fun day.

Happy Birthday Emma and Norah!

Wyatt was invited to Pump It Up! for Emma and Norah Mortenson's birthday party.  He had a blast- especially playing with the older kids.  I think I may have had just as much fun as Wyatt :)

Daddy, you there?

Wyatt was on his cell phone this morning talking to Daddy.  His conversation went like this, "Daddy, you there? ....I'm going to Amy's house.  Love you."  He's been into talking on his phone lately.  It's priceless when he starts walking around the house with the phone resting on his shoulder.  The small things these children pick up on :)

Saturday night was such a perfect night for a fire, and what goes with a fire in my mind:  graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows.  Wyatt thought it was so cool to see Dan light the marshallow on fire and then blow it out- he could have cared less about the acutal S'more itself.  I just sat back and enjoyed mine :)

Great Grandma Bell

My 90 year old grandmother, Wyatt's "Great Grandma Bell," has been in a nursing home for the last month and a half.  She was admitted into the hospital again last week but is now back in the nursing home.  She is very ill and we're taking one day at a time.  We went down and spent the day with her on Saturday.  It was such a blessing to see her light up when she saw Wyatt.  As my mom said, the little ones sure know how to make anyone feel better.  Hang in there Grandma- I can't imagine this world without you.

Grandma passed away on Sunday, Sept. 19th at 3:15pm. 

Minnesota Zoo

Daddy went fishing for the weekend so it was just Wyatt and I.  We headed to the Minnesota Zoo on Friday.  They said it should have been really busy but due to the cooler weather it wasn't- we lucked out.  We were standing directly in front of the bear but the only thing Wyatt wanted to see were the chickens!  Go figure.
