Micah Turns Two!

Cousin Micah turns 2 tomorrow, July 1st- so that makes him and Wyatt only 6 months apart.  We went over to the Montgomery's house tonight for some Thomas the Train cupcakes.  The weather was perfect and the kids had a good time.

Wyatt was in love with Molly since the first time he met her- look at her, how could anyone NOT be in love with Miss Molly :)  Wyatt spent part of the morning hanging out with Zach and Molly Nelson- it was short but sweet.

Girls Night Out!

As Koren stated, this is a night that I look forward to once a month.  We've kept the tradition going strong since January.  We had an evening full of sushi, wine, laughs and fun at Raku in Edina.

Tonight after Wyatt's bath he decided to pull all of his diapers out of the dresser.  I'm not sure what he was trying to accomplish but it was harmless so we let it be.  He was so serious.

Father's Day

We hosted Father's Day at our house this year.  We had the pleasure to spend the afternoon with 4 great dads:  My dad, Dan's dad, Dan and Kevin.  Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of all four of them together.  The kids had a blast in the pool- the weather was perfect!

Saturday Night BBQ

Amy, Christine and I have worked together for the last 8 years.  Within that 8 years there have been 5 children born between the three of us.  Of course Wyatt is the odd man out; he's the only boy.  Regardless, the kids all play well together and this is the first time we've all been together in a really long time.

A Visit to Barb's House

On Friday Wyatt and I walked down to Barb's (his old daycare) house to see his friends.  It's been almost 8 months since he has seen any of the kids and it was like yesterday when he left.  Not everyone was there but who he wanted to see most was Maya, that's all that mattered, and she was there.  As Barb stated- all the kids have such a great chemistry with one another and yet each of their personalities is so different.  If they were running a company together it would be a Fortune 500 :)

Memorial Weekend

We had such a great long weekend at home.  The weather was almost amazing, well perfect for 2 of the 3 days.  We were just home doing some more landscaping/yardwork, enjoying our neighbors company for a fire, more neighbors for dinner and my belated birthday celebration on Dan's side of the family.  We couldn't have asked for a better weekend.

I think it's time to graduate to a larger pool or another "water" toy of some sort.  Nonetheless, he was entertained.

It was a toss up tonight with the weather.  Is it too hot to be outside or not?!?!?  We spent the later evening hours enjoying the hot weather.  Wyatt enjoyed pouring sand from his buckets to his dump truck- cheap entertainment!  His poor red cheeks.

It's been a busy couple of weeks so I'm finally catching up on my posts.  We celebrated a belated Mother's Day weekend at my parent's house in Northfield a couple weeks ago.  My Aunt and Uncle were home visiting from San Antonio.  Of course we ate a lot and the guys enjoyed a round of golf at Willinger's.  It was a great time.

Suds, Suds and More Suds!

It's routine to grab some Tonka trucks before a bath so that Wyatt can give them a "car wash."  As he was placing several of his trucks in the tub he decided to also pour an entire bottle of shampoo into the tub as well- mom wasn't very happy!  Sufice it to say he had quite the bubble bath tonight and a little talking to as well.

No More Monkeys Jumping On The Bed!!!!!

We had the honor of watching Luca tonight and Wyatt was super excited to see him.  They talked their own talk, played with trucks and more trucks and ran around and around.  Then, Wyatt showed Luca the guest room bed.  Wyatt is only allowed to jump on the bed when mommy or daddy are in the room so he politley asked and away they went.  And I love how Luca is holding on for dear life to Mr. Potato Head's glasses!
